About San Pedro Cares:
San Pedro Cares - Community Alliance for Resident Empowerment & Safety - Citizens Advocating for Responsible Expansion and Proper Land Use) is a dedicated group of around 700 San Pedro residents and business owners formed in 2026 in response to the Proposition 1 project at 2100 S. Western Ave. Our mission is to advocate for thoughtful land use policies and development projects that preserve the quality of life and prioritize the safety and long-term well-being of San Pedro. This includes promoting developments that consider enviromental impacts, economic viability, community safety and equitable growth; while actively opposing projects that could impair neighborhood harmony.
